spraypaint + bleach + shirts = :)

Shirts are crazy fun to mess around with… I mean, wearable art. How cool is that???

I did my first one in the fall as kind of an experiment, my first attempt at bleach painting. I was inspired by this amazing hoodie. it was a messy effort but I learned a lot and while it looks kinda sloppy, I’m pleased with the results.



Then I spray painted this tank top… it looks a bit better in person, the bird looks more defined.



then I came up with a musical design for Harris, but unfortunately I can't find the pictures I took of it at the moment.


Then I did this one on my youth retreat a couple weekends ago… we were all doing Christian themed stuff, but I’m not much into that whole Christian tshirt thing for reasons too complicated to explain here, so I came up with this spray paint design. I’m very pleased with the results! :D

I’m pretty pleased with this one, although there are a few minor things I’d do differently if I made another one. The splattering was almost an afterthought, I just threw it on at the very end and I’m really glad I did, I think it really adds a nice effect.
