
This past weekend I was out at camp working yet another retreat… I got to run the archery range for the afternoon on Friday and even though it was ridiculously humid thanks to a torrential downpour that morning, I had quite a lovely time.
I had some downtime during the first twenty minutes or so that I was out there and I got this epic picture with my itouch:

Ain’t it pretty?? I am quite happy with it.
I also got a chance to work out a little bit. I’ve been wanting to try a HIIT workout for a few weeks now, just to see what it’s like because I hear it’s way more hardcore than you think it’d be.
So of course being the cocky little buttface that I am I go into it like, “aw psh, it’s just 10 minutes. I can do this easy.”
It took me about thirty seconds to start huffing and puffing, laughing at my prideful little self the whole time.

It’s a great workout, though. Twenty seconds of as many burpees as you can do, then the same with high knees and jumping jacks, each with 10 seconds rest in between. 2-3 cycles and you’re done! Woohoo!
