a toast to my darling

....I was presented with the task of writing a wedding toast for speech class, so I decided to write about my darling sweet baboo :)

Sarrah is one of my nearest and dearest friends… she’s one of those rare special ones who’d trip you if you were running from aliens or burst out laughing as you fell into a trash can (I know, I tested it out once).  The kind of friend who sees that you’re the only one doing a stupid-looking dance and immediately joins you just so you’re not alone.  The kind of friend that‘s handing you a medicated bandaid as she forces you to clean your cyclops wound.  The kind of friend who instantly springs into your mind when you are faced with the assignment to write a wedding toast.

She is truly one of the most special people I’ve ever met, and I am filled with such joy to see her here today with the man she loves, beginning her journey down the wild and beautiful marriage path.
So as I stand here, on my darling sweet baboo’s wedding day, I would like to congratulate her husband;  first on finding the most wonderful wife in the whole wide world, and on being a distinguished enough man to grab her attention.  Football is nothing, you made the best score of your life today.
I also congratulate Sarrah on finding a man worthy of her affection and I’m so excited to see her life and family develop.  I hope and pray that your lives together are filled with laughter, even when it’s hard to smile.  That your life together is full and vibrant, even in times that are empty and dull.  That every day, you wake up and find a new reason to fall in love with your spouse.
To Sarrah and her Groom.

(thanks weheartit for the pretty pictures!)
