I must say...

I am totally rockin the http://pinterest.com/pin/179112609/”>messy bun today.  Although with my awkward baby fuzz curlies sticking out on either side of my head, I keep mistaking my shadow for that of an emperor penguin.  But surely people don’t automatically think of penguins when they see my messy bun.  Hopefully they are reminded of artsy pinterest-esc fashionable fantasticness.  
Either way, it’s quite lovely having your hair purposefully mussed, that way you can wallow around and be a bum all day long, throw on a halfway decent shirt and actually not feel like such a slob because touches of what used to be considered slob-ish is now actually fashionable.
I must say, I do heartily approve of this whole scheme we’ve got going here.
Now if only we could get flannel cutoff pajama shorts on the runway I’m set to sail because that sure floats my boat.  Hehe : )
